There are many ways in which Occupational therapy can be helpful!

We look at what you do day to day, the challenges you face and your environment.

Then, we create a plan and adjustments to help you achieve your goals and aspirations!

We do occupations from the moment we are born, on our own or with others.

An occupation is any activity that we need, want or like to do to live

and

to look after our physical, mental health, our emotional and spiritual wellbeing.

EXAMPLE

MENTAL HEALTH

When we are struggling with our mental health, it is common to experience lack of purpose, structure and meaning.

We may disconnect from our environments and loose sense of belonging.

Through Occupational Therapy, we help enhance your quality of life and health by working through goals, whether that be improving mood or developing identity, environment and connections.

As we focus on occupation, it is our goal to support you in making improvements in our ability to do the things you need and want to do.

All qualified Occupational therapists are trained to a science-based, health and social care profession at degree level, and are registered and regulated by the Health and Care Professions Council.
